Release Reminder: Air Jordan Force VI (6)

The DJ is having a hard time figuring out if I want these white/black/purple joints or the white/black/gold joints. The black joints are out of the question.

Jordan Brand celebrates February, Black History Month with an Air Jordan Force VI (6) commemorating all the remarkable achievements and people. The Black History Month Air Jordan Force VI will be releasing tomorrow composed of premium materials including black leather on the upper with a quilt-like pattern on the side panels and toebox. Releasing alongside the BHM model are two other styles of the fusion. The Air Jordan Force VI pictured above consists mostly of white in addition to subtle hints of purple along the midsole and heel tab. The third AJF VI selling in stores starting tomorrow is made up of white, black and electro lime. Also featuring a white base, this hybrid model is supported by a black heel and electro lime stitching. All three will be available at Air Jordan retailers tomorrow.

Kicks: Nike Kevin Durant KD1 – Black / Team Orange – Photo Blue

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

Kevin Durant should be slapped for not wearing these..

The Nike KD1 is obviously Kevin Durant’s signature shoe, but the surprising aspect of all this is that Kevin Durant himself rarely rocks his sneaker on the courts. Whatever the case may be, we are now getting a first look at an “Away” colorway of the KD1 composed of a creatively designed split upper. The inner side of the sneaker features a black patent leather upper accented by blue stitching and a blue Nike swoosh. The outside of the same pair yields a black suede base with a team orange swoosh, a KD logo, and multicolored stitching. This “Away” KD1 also includes a black midsole with zoom air and a photo blue outsole. These are now available at Shoe-Planet and should be hitting Nike retailers next month.

Kanye West and Louis Vuitton Red/Red’s

kanye-louis-vuitton

I’ll wait for the bootleg Fila version lol.

From kicksonfire.com

By now I am sure you have all heard of the collaboration between Mr.Kanye West and Louis Vuitton to create the much hyped line of stylish footwear. We have posted before on the Kanye West x Louis Vuitton – Boating Shoes and we now present to you here today the Kanye West x Louis Vuitton – Red/ Red. This model will be all red of course and sports an exxaggerated heel flap while maintaining a high-fashion feel. The idea behind the elevated heel flap was a sci-fi character from the cult film of the 1980s known as Dune. The heel flap was created in order to make tucking pants into your shoes easier, a very innovative idea. Another nice touch is the raised Louis Vuitton logos shown on the tongue and sole. This model is set to release in June, 2009.

Maaaaaan, I got to get one of these watches

cool watches

Fuck yall, the DJ is bringin these back in style.

From gizmoave.com

When it comes to nerd fashion, I think the calculator watch trumps both the stereotypical bow tie and the pocket protector. But Casio is actually trying to put a little ‘Geek-Chic’ into its current line of Databank watches by introducing a little color. While the DBC32 series includes their standard model with a black face and black strap, it adds 4 other models that feature considerably more stylish color schemes. Since almost every device I carry with me has some sort of calculator function already built-in, my days of wearing a Casio Databank watch are long gone, but I do like the checkerboard keyboard treatment on a few of these.
The watches range in price from $59.99 for the color models, to $69.95 for the black one, and they all include the standard calculator watch features like a 25 page databank, 8-digit calculator, stopwatch, timer, calendar and multi-function alarms.

I don’t know why, but I want these J’s

The new Cintron Spizikes will be released on the 24th of this month. Ever since my black, red, varsity green Spizikes got stolen out of my whip, I’ve always wanted some other Green and Black spizike kicks. Since the black red and green joints are going for 400+ now, I might have to settle for these ugly purple ones lol.

LG X PRADA PRADA II

LG X PRADA PRADA II

I won’t be giving up my iPhone, but this joint is hot nonetheless even though it’s more expensive than I’ll be gotdamned.

LG have officially launched the Prada II cellphoneas expected, and it’s brought along a friend in the shape of a Bluetooth watch, the Prada Link.  Like other such devices we’ve seen, it can show caller ID as well as preview text messages, without requiring you to whip out the handset itself (and promptly get mugged).  As we’ve already seen, the Prada II itself is a 3G HSDPA (900/2100MHz) device with WiFi, a 3-inch capacitive WQVGA touchscreen and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

As well as the main, 5-megapixel camera, there’s a front-mounted second camera for video calls.  The Prada II also has haptic feedback, to confirm that you’ve selected things, which works with LG’s new “active flash” menu system, a slick update on the original Prada phone GUI.  Preloaded on the handset are exclusive Prada ringtones, clips and wallpapers, together with the fashion label’s Fall/Winter 2008 Lookbook.

There’s also a microSD card slot, and the Prada II (aka the LG KF900) is apparently happy playing DivX video files.  It measures 104.5 x 54 x 16.75mm and weighs 130g; the battery is good for 400hrs standby or 3hrs talktime.  The Prada Link watch, meanwhile, weighs 51g, has a 0.9-inch 120 x 56 OLED display, battery good for 48hrs standby and leather strap.

Both are available this month in Europe, priced at around €600 ($867).
