Lights Out Review: Scarface – Emeritus (my first review!)

scarfaceemeritus

This is from a series of reviews I’m doing for Custom Whipz Magazine (cwhipz.com)

Scarface the pioneer, the god father, the legend. All these things summarize Face’s legacy in not only the south, but rap period. Giving his fans what Face calls his last album, he cements a long lasting, consistent career, capping off a discography that is arguably one of the best in hiphop. 20 years deep in the game, earning himself multiple platinum and gold plaques and album after album of gangsta but introspective music…it’s going to be hard to see him go…especially after dropping this monster of an album….

Rating: 4 out of 5

Review: Slow Motion Soundz Presents G-Side – Starshipz and Rocketz

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

If you don’t know who Slow Motion Soundz is then you really need to get familiar. Starshipz and Rocketz along with Fear and Loathing in Hunts Vegas have been my two most played albums since I got em. If you’re a fan of southern rap then you should definitely check out Starshipz and Rocketz and all of Slow Motion’s music.

Allhiphop.com critiques Comm’s new lp. Seems as if this album is kind of polarizing to Comm Sense fans. Either you love it or you hate it.
