A little something smooth for all folks going thru some hard times. The bassline on this track is hypnotic. Shoutout to DJ Brainchild who put me up on Reggie B. Dude has some banging rnb joints…

Its a damn shame that I’ve been posting shit on this site for 3 months and I haven’t posted anything from Devin The Dude till now. I would post a d/l link for this Best of Devin The Dude mix I did years back, but I can’t find that shit on my hard drive. Such is life…
This is off of the Murda Was The Case soundtrack. Jodeci and Deathrow made a couple of classics. This was my shit.
My daddy was a player, my grandpa too, so what the fuck else am I supposed to do?
Too Short is probably my 3rd or 4th favorite rapper and guess what? I’m bout to get blasted and go see him perform tonight. There’s so many quotables in this song. Definitely one of my favorites from the post-retirement $hort Dawg….
I love this track. I’ve always wanted to hear B.I.G. spit the lyrics instead of Kim though (there has to be a reference track SOMEWHERE). The song contains the same sample as Dr. Dre’s Xxplosive but is flipped a bit better. Both beats are dope but I think Drugs gets the nod. Biggie killed the hook.
Shoutout to my country cousin DJ Drastic for putting me up on this about a year ago. This shit came on while I was shuffling thru my ipod and I almost crashed my whip.
I been in an ol school mood lately…
Yeah, Hip Hop and Rap, that’s where my heart’s at!
Once upon a time before NYC was regulated to following hiphop trends, using autotune, and jumping out of windows…they made classic hiphop records like this.
Sums up how I been living my life lately…
They just don’t make playa music like this no more…

Ok, here’s the story…
The DJ is VERY excited about this track. The reason why is because I’m a big Pimp C fan (hell the only reason why this website even exists is because I wanted a place to host Tribute To Pimp C – 1 Year Anniversary Mix). One of the most upsetting things about Pimp’s death is not only did we lose one of the most charismatic and entertaining rappers ever, but we also lost the whole Country Rap Tune sound that Pimp pioneered. Well Steve Below is here to ease the latter worries. He was actually a co-producer of alot of those Pimp C tracks and I’m guessing he played the guitar for Pimp, because the guitar on this track sounds VERY similar to alot of the riffs contained on many of Pimp C’s classic productions.
Well that’s enough talking, peep out this new track from Johnny Ringo, featuring Bun Beatta, produced by Below. If you’re a fan of country rap tunes then I doubt this will dissapoint…

Big ups to KeepItTrill.com

For the last couple of days this has been the track I play when I’m in the whip taking care of life’s daily mission. Shoutout to the whole Slow Motion fam….
