Welp here’s my latest bundle of joy. Hope y’all enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it. I put my soul into this one. Hope to see everybody at the Black and White 2 party at Luna tomorrow. It’s going to be pure unadulterated greatness folks I promise you that. As always, thanks for the support…
I’vebeenranting and excitedlyraving about this mixtape/album for the past two days. The Weekend is made up of Toronto singer Abel Tesfaye and producers Doc McKinney and Illangelo, who introduced Esthero to the world. This is the dopest collection of rnb songs I have heard in awhile. Imagine the best Drake rnb tracks with better vocals, content men can relate to, and beautiful music that women will love. That pretty much sums up this album. Check it out.
What’s poppin? The unfortunate death of Nate Dogg had me on a 1 week 90’s west coast music hiatus, so I wasn’t paying much attention at all to all this new shit that’s been coming out. Hence, I bring you the daily dose. Hit the jump for a bunch of tracks that came out in the past week or so….Oh and speaking of Nate Dogg, once this tripod comes in the mail imma shoot a Nate Dogg tribute video, live on the turntables for y’all. Cool? Ok, cool…
This is the mixtape that has had twitter in an absolute frenzy for the past couple of weeks. We’ll see if Pusha T can live up to or hopefully surpass the hype. I’m not gonna lie tho, I kinda miss Malice.
Pusha T over some Neptunes instrumentals? Good to see that union is still in tact. Pusha T’s mixtape Fear of God drops on March 21st, buzz approaching astronomical levels for real.
Imma be real with yall, I haven’t listen to this track yet. I’m not listening to any more music from this album until it arrives in my mailbox. I don’t want to ruin the first listen experience of what I believe will be an incredible album. But if you still need convincing, please check this out and run to your favorite legal music site (amazon?) and preorder this shit.
