When people ask me about my fav cities besides my hometown (stl if you didn’t know sucka), I usually say NYC or DC. I always forget about my people down in the delta in Jackson, Mississippi. I love that place. So cool, calm and carefree. Just like me.
This is one of the more ignant Big K.R.I.T. songs you’re gonna hear. Totally off topic but Def Jam has got to shoot a video for Sookie Now. That song has the potential to be a summer anthem in the same vein that International Playaz with UGK and Outkast was. But what do I know?

I am ashamed to say that I have been sleeping on Big K.R.I.T. for an insane amount of time. I remember seeing ads for his music since forever. I wasn’t paying attention then but consider me awoke now. This guy is my kind of rapper. Hailing from a small town in Mississippi that I’ve never heard of, Krit caught my attention with his striking vocal resemblance to the late great Pimp C. But it doesn’t end there, Krit supplies a level of substance that might surprise you. It’s rare that someone drops a mixtape that sounds so good that you almost feel bad for getting it for free. One thing for sure, this tape s a cold piece of work that has made this DJ an instant fan. I’m gonna post some of my fav tracks once this plane lands and I get some free time in nyc.
