Yo, fuck BET for dismissing all of Nelly’s accomplishments this decade. How does and artist come out of NO WHERE, put a city on the map, make it cool for a rapper to go pop and sing on his records, SELL 30 MILLION RECORDS, and yall dismiss him for rappers who do the SAME SHIT but only have one album (ie Drake)? Maaaaaan. December 4th really crept up on me. I planned to do another Tribute to Pimp C mix to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of my favorite rapper’s death and to celebrate the 1st anniversary of my website. The past two weeks have been a damn whirlwind for me and I wasn’t able to really get down on it but oh well. Shoutout to all the websites, djs, label reps, rap families etc. who have showed me love for the past year. It would take me all day to name everybody but just know that I appreciate you for appreciating me. 1.2 million views in one year, we did that! It’s been an eventful year but we aint goin no where!
