This song has been in my inbox for a minute. The homie Codie G from Slow Motion Soundz being in my mentions on twitter reminded me to check it out. Quality music as always…

One of my favorite up and coming groups just released this teaser track for their upcoming album One… Cohesive. Can’t wait to hear the new material these cats got cooked up. I’ve always digged the dynamic between the group (made up of ST 2 Lettaz and Clova). Clova provides the cool, and ST 2 Lettaz is literally one of the best spittas you aint up on yet.

If for some reason you have not been following my coverage of G-Side, Slow Motion Soundz, and other music that has came out of Huntsville, Alabama recently, click this to catch up.

This shit is fire. I don’t understand how the PRGz, The Block Beattaz, Slow Motion Sounds, etc have been consistently dropping good ass music for years and they are still kind of under the radar. More people should be checking for them and if you’re not then click this and put yourself on.

Everybody getting off the cigars in 2010. People still laugh at me for
being on the papers tho. One day people will wise up, especially now
that people are starting to rap about em lol. This is one of the
coolest songs about herbal refreshment that I’ve heard in a minute. ST
is the future.

This is from the DGK/Ballers Eve mixtape which I’m gonna post up in a sec

Audio: The S.L.O. ft OThird – Can’t Outwork Em

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

New slo mo shit via the good folks at southernhospitalityThey can write a better description for this than I can so:

Since Huntsville went International everything changed. Horizons were broadened, critics satisfied, fanbases expanded, shows booked and more to be announced. But the trailblazers of music from Alabama, the artists, visionaries and producers at Slow Motion Soundz are only getting started, and are now setting down their mission statement for the year.

The first is spelled out in the below track, which is being premiered right now live from New York by our good people at Ballers Eve and right here on Southern Hospitality. Feel this.
