Fonzworth let the Derrty DJs hear this track at the 2008 Derrty DJ conference, I believe. It didn’t have Lil Wayne on it back then tho. It features a very laid back Organized Noize-esque beat and verses from the legendary Bun B and Pimp C. This shit was hot back then, and it’s still fresh now.
Your boy has been busy as a fool the last 3 days. I have been DJing and partying waaaaaaaaaaaay too much. Like seriously, this can’t be healthy. Anywho, hit the jump for a whole heap of links to accompany that whole heap of ass above.
Daaaaaaaamn, this is dope as FUCK. Wow I wish they got this sample cleared. Shouts to Burn One for the drop and the explanation:
Here’s the original version of the interlude joints from the latest (and final) UGK album. The beat is a raw version that still contains the sample from which the music is based around and it’s got a different Bun verse.
This shit is 5 stars outta 5 stars. Nothing but classic country rap tunes on this joint. I cannot see this CD leaving my CD changer for some time. Definitely the album I hoped it would be.
I won’t speak on my frustrations as to WHY this video is just now coming out a day before the release of the last album from the Underground Kingz…but I guess I just did. This video is dope as fuck. Damn I miss the Pimp…
You mighta been wondering where The DJ has been the past couple days. Well, I been right here muffucka. On some real shit, I haven’t been posting much cause I’m kinda disgusted with the quality of music that’s been droppin lately. It’s pretty uninspiring. If I get one more I Get It In freestyle I’m going to vomit. The good news is that I haven’t gotten a new autotuned track in about…..4 days. That’s a record. But such is life…hit the jump for some free music from Snoop, Slim Thug, Charles Hamilton, B.o.B., and some other niggas.
